The product
What you actually earned
Money in, money out, and what is still owed, across sponsorships, platform payouts and everything else.
Included from the Pro plan. See what each plan covers.
What it is
How what you actually earned works
One view of income by source and over time, with expenses against it, so the number you see is what you kept rather than what you invoiced.
Income logs itself where it can. Marking an invoice paid records it, with the date and the amount actually received, including deposits and partial payments.
A tax set-aside card and a year-end summary, with exports for QuickBooks, Xero, or a plain CSV for whoever does your return.
Why it matters
The problem underneath it
Creator income is lumpy and arrives from five places, which makes it very hard to answer the two questions that matter: is this working, and can I afford to do it full time. A number per platform does not answer either.
It is also the difference between a surprise tax bill and a boring one. Setting money aside as it arrives is easy; finding it in January is not.
Who it is for
And who it is not for
Creators earning from more than one source
Sponsorships, payouts and affiliate income rarely land in the same place.
Anyone deciding whether to go full time
A decision that needs a year of real numbers, not a good month.
People who dread tax season
Vantr will not tell you what you owe or pick a percentage. It tracks what you set aside, which is the part software can do honestly.
Alternatives
What people use instead
Some of these are genuinely the right answer. It depends on whether your posting is attached to money yet.
A spreadsheet
Completely viable, and what most accountants would rather you sent them. It only works if you keep it up, and nobody does in a busy month.
Accounting software
Better at accounting than Vantr is and will remain so. It has no idea what a deliverable is or which post earned the money, so you keep two systems.
Your bank statement
The true record, with none of the context. It cannot tell a sponsorship from a refund without you remembering.
Questions
The things people ask first
Does Vantr tell me how much tax I owe?
No, deliberately. It tracks what you set aside at a percentage you choose. Calculating tax owed is a job for someone qualified, in your country, and software that guesses at it is doing you harm.
Does income get logged automatically?
When an invoice is marked paid, yes, with the real date and amount. Money that arrives outside Vantr can be added by hand.
Can I export it for my accountant?
Yes, as QuickBooks or Xero formats, or a detailed CSV.
What about multiple currencies?
Totals never sum across currencies. There is no exchange rate applied anywhere, because a converted total is a made-up number by the time anyone reads it.
