Creator rate calculator
Work out what to charge for a sponsored post from your median views and the rate you set.
Line up your last 5+ posts by views and take the middle one. Not the average, and not your best.
No conversion happens. The number stays in the currency you pick.
Starts at $25.00, a common mid-range figure for creator sponsorships. Move it to what you actually charge. Niche, usage rights and exclusivity move this more than audience size does.
Put your median views in and the numbers appear here.
This is arithmetic on your numbers, not a valuation. It is a place to start a conversation from, and usage rights, exclusivity and how much the brand wants you will move it in both directions.
How it works
The method, in one line
Median views ÷ 1,000 × your CPM. That is the whole calculation, and it is deliberately the one brands already budget with. Vantr uses the same arithmetic inside the product, except that there it reads your median from your connected channels instead of asking you to type it.
Questions
The things people ask first
Why median views and not followers?
Followers say nothing about how many people see a post. On recommendation feeds most viewers do not follow you, so two accounts with the same follower count can reach wildly different numbers. Brands budget against views, so price against views.
Why median and not average?
One viral post drags an average up and makes every quote after it look unreasonable. The median is the middle post, which is closer to what a brand will actually get.
What CPM should I use?
There is no honest single answer, which is why the slider is yours to set. It starts at a common mid-range figure for creator sponsorships. Niche matters more than size: finance and B2B audiences pay multiples of what general entertainment does.
Does this include usage rights?
No. Paid ad usage, exclusivity and long licence terms are priced on top, and they are frequently worth more than the post itself. There is a guide on that below.
Is anything saved?
No. It runs in your browser, nothing is stored and no account is needed.
