Acceptable Use Policy
- Effective date
- July 2026
- Applies to
- Vantr, and everyone using it
This Policy sets out what you may and may not do with Vantr — the content you must not publish, the platform rules you must respect, the technical restrictions that apply, and what happens if the line is crossed.
1.Scope
This Policy sets out what is and is not acceptable use of Vantr. It forms part of our Terms of Service, and applies to every account and every member of a workspace.
The workspace owner is responsible for the conduct of the members they invite. If a member breaches this Policy, the consequences in section 8 may apply to the workspace as a whole.
This Policy is written to cover conduct we have not anticipated as well as conduct we have. Where something is not listed but is plainly abusive, we will treat it as a breach.
2.Content you must not publish
Do not use Vantr to create, store or publish content that:
- is unlawful, or promotes or facilitates unlawful activity;
- infringes copyright, trade marks, or any other intellectual property right — see our Copyright Policy;
- sexually exploits or endangers a child in any way, including any depiction of a minor in a sexualised context;
- depicts or promotes non-consensual sexual content, including intimate images shared without consent;
- harasses, bullies, threatens, defames or incites violence against any person or group;
- promotes terrorism, violent extremism, or a violent criminal organisation;
- promotes self-harm, suicide, or disordered eating;
- contains malware, or links to sites distributing it;
- impersonates another person or organisation, or misrepresents your affiliation with one;
- is knowingly false in a way likely to cause real-world harm, particularly regarding health, safety, or elections.
Content that is legal but violates a destination platform's own rules is also a breach of this Policy, because publishing it through Vantr puts both your account and our platform access at risk.
3.Platform integrity
Vantr's access to third-party platforms depends on our meeting their developer terms. Do not use the Service to:
- operate bot networks, or post from accounts that misrepresent who is behind them;
- engage in coordinated inauthentic behaviour, including running multiple accounts to amplify the same message deceptively;
- artificially inflate views, likes, followers or engagement, or to buy or sell engagement;
- post identical or near-identical content at volume in a way a platform would treat as spam;
- evade a suspension, ban, or rate limit imposed by a platform;
- publish undisclosed paid promotion where the platform or applicable law requires disclosure.
Breaches of this section are treated seriously. A single account misusing platform access can cost every Vantr customer their integration, so we act on it quickly.
4.Technical restrictions
Do not:
- access the Service by any means other than the interfaces we provide, or use automated tooling that degrades it for others;
- circumvent authentication, rate limiting, quotas, or plan entitlements;
- attempt to access another workspace's data, or any account you are not authorised to use;
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Service, except to the extent that restriction cannot lawfully be imposed;
- resell or sublicense the Service, or provide it to third parties as a service bureau, other than through the workspace features we provide;
- upload material intended to overload, disrupt, or impair the Service or its infrastructure.
Security research is welcome under the process in our Security page. Testing conducted outside that process is a breach of this section.
6.Data and privacy of others
Do not upload personal data about other people that you have no lawful basis to hold or publish, and do not use the Service to collect, scrape, or compile personal data at scale.
If you use Vantr to publish on behalf of a client or employer, make sure you are authorised to hold the account credentials and content you connect to it.
Do not upload special categories of personal data — health, biometric, political, religious or similar — to the Service.
7.Reporting a breach
If you believe an account is being used in breach of this Policy, email support@vantr.app with the account or content in question and a description of the problem.
Copyright complaints follow the separate procedure in our Copyright Policy. Security vulnerabilities follow the procedure on our Security page.
8.What happens if you breach this Policy
Our response is proportionate to the seriousness of the breach, whether it appears deliberate, and whether it has happened before. It may include:
- a warning, with a request to remove content or change behaviour;
- removal of specific content, or disabling of a specific feature or connection;
- suspension of the account while we investigate;
- termination of the account and the workspace;
- referral to law enforcement, where the conduct appears criminal.
We will usually give notice and an opportunity to put things right. We may act immediately and without notice where the breach involves illegal content, risk of harm to a person, a threat to the security of the Service, or conduct that jeopardises our access to a third-party platform.
Where we terminate an account for breach of this Policy, we do not refund fees for the remainder of the period. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
If you believe we have acted in error, write to support@vantr.app and we will review the decision.
9.Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as the Service changes and as new forms of abuse appear. The effective date at the top of this document records when the current version took effect.
