Deliverable
One specific thing you have promised a brand: a post, a video, a story, an appearance.

A deliverable is one specific thing you owe a brand as part of a deal. One video, one story frame, one appearance. A deal usually contains several, on different platforms, with different dates.
Why the plural matters
Most deals are not one thing. "A TikTok, a Reel and a story" is three deliverables, and treating them as a single item is how two of them go unnoticed until one is late.
Written out separately, each one gets its own platform, its own due date and its own status. That is also what makes it possible to invoice for part of a deal: if you have delivered two of four, that is a fact rather than a negotiation from memory.
The states that matter
- Due — agreed, not made yet.
- Delivered — sent to the brand, or posted.
- Awaiting approval — with the brand, out of your hands. This is the state that quietly eats weeks.
- Ready to invoice — done, and the money has not been asked for yet.
Deliverables that are not posts
Not everything is published. A shoot, an audition or an event appearance is delivered rather than posted, and it belongs in the same list as the things that do go on a platform.
